Jules Verne — Le Tour du Monde en Quatre-Vingts Jours
1901
Phileas Fogg's eighty days, printed in 1901, have aged more slowly than he did.
A teaching edition of Verne's own novel, published by D.C. Heath in 1901 for American students of French — a book about circling the globe, sent across the Atlantic to do a smaller, quieter kind of traveling. A student named Milton Bachman owned this copy by 1907, in Detroit.
Cloth boards, schoolbook octavo. Worn spine head, else solid.
